Luke Perry Dies at 52 of Stroke Leaving Fans Everywhere With A Broken Heart

The 90210 star, Luke Perry, and recently also the dad in Riverdale, has left fans everywhere broken hearted as news of his death came out. The actor of the brooding Dylan McKay in 90210 died of a stroke at the young age of only 52.

His publicist released a statement to all his millions of admiring fans.”The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time,”

Luke was hospitalized several days

He was apparently rushed to hospital from his Sherman Oaks home after having had a stroke. Several days later he sadly passed away. Many of his co-stars from the 1990 show 90210 rushed to twitter to share their sadness and support.

Luke was extremely famous during the 1990s and had thousands of admirers from all over the world. He even appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone as well as Vanity Fair.

Luke once spoke of his 90210 character, Dylan McKay, in an interview with a Swedish newspaper: “I’m going to be linked with him until I die, but that’s actually just fine. I created Dylan McKay. He’s mine.”

Perry leaves behind an ex-wife, Rachel Minnie Sharp and their two kids, Jack and Sophie. He was also engaged to Wendy Madison Bauer.
